Request for Proposals for Two-Way Radio System

The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for TWO-WAY RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM for the Transbay Program, from vendors with expertise in two-way radio communication system. The selected Respondent (Vendor) will coordinate, supply, construct, install, test, furnish, and commission the two-way radio system, to include commercial grade encryption and storage of voice recording, which will be used throughout the transit center, including surrounding exterior areas, on the bus ramp and at the off-site bus storage facility, in accordance with terms of the Agreement with the TJPA.

A pre-proposal conference and site visit was held at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, April 23, 2018, at the TJPA offices at 201 Mission Street, Suite 2100, San Francisco, California. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference was NOT mandatory but highly recommended in order to assess site conditions, operational radio coverage, radio equipment needed and to provide a complete, responsive proposal. A second optional site visit was held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Four (4) copies of the Proposal and a USB drive with the Proposal in PDF format must be received by the no later than 2:00 pm Pacific Time on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the TJPA offices. Responses that are not received by the time and date specified or do not contain all the required information and completed forms shall be deemed non-responsive and rejected without consideration.
