Request for Proposals for Traffic Control Services

Webcor/Obayashi Joint Venture seeks responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) from Trade Subcontractors interested in submitting a proposal for package TG05.4R – Traffic Control Services – from licensed Traffic or Civil Engineers for the Transbay Transit Center (TTC) Project located in San Francisco, California.  This is a re-issuance of RFP TG05.4.  Proposers who submitted a proposal in response to TG05.4 must re-submit a proposal if they wish to be considered for evaluation.

Trade Subcontractors shall possess a valid and current State of California Professional Engineer License (Civil or Traffic Engineer) and/or Professional Registration with a C31 California License for the work for which it intends to submit a proposal and must provide proof of insurance in order to be eligible for submitting a proposal.

Trade Subcontractors are required to be certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) in order to propose for this scope of work.  Information on the TJPA SBE Program is available here. 

Funding for this work is provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA); ARRA requirements include submitting monthly reports of hours/jobs.

An optional pre-proposal conference for Trade Subcontractors interested in submitting proposals was held on Thursday, April 14, 2010 at

For notification of updates, contractors are encouraged to register on the TJPA’s website. However, all contractors are solely responsible for ensuring the receipt of any and all addenda, and should therefore check the website before submitting their Proposals to ensure receipt of all addenda, and to ensure their proposals respond to any such addenda.
