REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: DATA NETWORK AND SYSTEMS INTEGRATION CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PACKAGE

Webcor/Obayashi Joint Venture seeks responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Trade Subcontractors interested in the Data Network and Systems Integration Construction Services on the contract for the Transbay Transit Center (TTC) Project located in San Francisco, California. The RFQ seeks Trade Subcontractors that have significant experience with providing complete and functioning turnkey LAN/WAN, WIFI & Mobility, IP Telephony, Network Security, Terminal Servers, and Network Implementation, including scheduling boards and digital signage, on complex projects. Also included are engineering, coordination, procurement and complete installation of the respective systems in the following trade:

TG27.1 DATA NETWORK AND SYSTEMS INTEGRATION

Trade Subcontractors will be required to have second-tier subcontractors in order to meet the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goals. This Trade Package has an SBE utilization goal of 15%. Second-tier subcontractors did not need to respond to this RFQ, regardless of SBE status. Under the RFQ process, the following firms were pre-qualified to bid the scope of work when contract documents are released:

Contract documents, including plans and specifications, for the project are anticipated to be available for bidding in April 2016. If Webcor/Obayashi Joint Venture chooses to recommend any of TG27.1 Data Network and Systems Integration package contract work to the TJPA for its approval, the Trade Subcontractor will be asked to comply with all TJPA contract requirements, including signing a letter of assent to the Transbay Transit Center Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and certifying compliance with federal Buy America regulations.
