Community Meeting – September 10, 2014: Bus Ramp Construction

Community Meeting regarding Bus Ramp Construction

We are excited to announce that construction of the new bus ramp for the Transbay Transit Center has begun.

The ramp will connect the Bay Bridge directly to the bus deck of the Transit Center via an elevated roadway structure and cable-stay bridge, facilitating Transbay bus service while avoiding additional bus traffic on San Francisco’s busy downtown streets. The new bus ramp will occupy a portion of the previous ramp’s corridor, extending northwest from the Bay Bridge over Harrison, Folsom, and Howard Streets between 1st and 2nd Streets (see item 3 in the image below, or click here for the full program map and legend).

Join us on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 to learn more about bus ramp construction and what it means for those located nearby. A community meeting will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with another session held from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Both sessions will be held at TJPA’s offices located at 201 Mission Street, Suite 2100.
