Community Meeting – May 8 2013: Transbay Construction Activities

Community Meeting on Construction Activity and Bike and Pedestrian Accessibility at the Future Transbay Transit Center

The third and final traffic bridge was successfully installed in April. We are now gearing up to complete mass excavation across the entire Transbay site and are readying to pour the foundation for the final structure. All around the jobsite, we are bustling with activity and would like to invite you to come to our next community meeting to see what exciting things are currently taking place.
In addition to our monthly construction update, we will also be having a presentation on bike and pedestrian accessibility around the future Transbay Transit Center.
Join us on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 to learn more about construction activities, mass excavation and internal bracing, foundation work, the hours of activity and future plans for bike and pedestrian accessibility. The community meeting will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at the TJPA’s offices located at 201 Mission Street, Suite 2100. We appreciate that you are taking your lunch hour to learn more about this innovative project, and would of course welcome you to bring food or drinks to this meeting.
