TJPA TIFIA Loan Approved By Credit Council

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Credit Council unanimously recommended approval of a $171 million Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loan on September 17, 2009. This recommendation will be forwarded to USDOT Secretary Ray LaHood for approval. TIFIA provides credit assistance for transportation projects of national or regional significance, and this recommendation is a major funding milestone for the TJPA. Read the Press Release
